Vogue Top and Skirt V1605

Buy the V1605 top and skirt sewing pattern from Vogue® Patterns. It’s perfect for an intermediate dressmaker. The top (A) is close-fitting and unlined, with invisible zippers at centre back and sleeves and purchased beaded trim. The skirt (B) is fitted through the hip and lined and has a centre back invisible zipper and train, pleat detail on the left hip and front waistband and bow accent.

Suggested fabrics: Moderate stretch knits (35% cross grain) // A: Stretch velvet, jersey // B: Stretch satin, stretch twill // Lining: Crepe de chine.

Note: Unsuitable for obvious diagonals. Fabric requirement allows for nap, one-way design or shading. Extra fabric may be needed to match design or for shrinkage.

Sizing: A5 (6-8-10-12-14), E5 (14-16-18-20-22), approx. UK sizes A5 (4/6 - 10), E5 (10 - 18/20). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: A: One 12" (31 cm) invisible zipper, 3 yds. (2.7 m) of 1/4" (0.6 cm) wide double-fold bias, 5/8 yd. (0.6 m) of 4 1/2" (12 cm) beaded trim, one 4" (10 cm) invisible zipper, one hook and eye // B: One 9" (23 cm) invisible zipper, one hook and eye.
