The Sewing Workshop Getaway Jeans

Buy the Getaway Jeans sewing pattern from The Sewing Workshop. These slim tapered jeans have a fly front zipper, front pockets and diagonal darts below the zipper. They sit at the natural waist with a back yoke and elastic waist back. They are ankle length with a double-fold cuff detail. There are optional seam finish details at the fly front and hem.

Suggested fabrics: Jeans: Stretch denim, denim, stretch wovens, twill, corduroy // Pocket lining: Solid or print light to mid-weight cotton.

Fabric requirements:

Jeans: 45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: XS-M, 2 5/8 yd (2.4 m) / L-XXL, 2 7/8 yd (2.6 m) // 54/60″ (137/152 cm) wide fabric: XS-M, 1 3/4 yd (1.6 m) / L-XXL, 2 3/4 yd (2.5 m).

Pocket lining: 45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: XS-M, 1/3 yd (0.3 m) // L-XXL, 1/2 yd (0.5 m).

Sizing: XS – XXL (approx. UK 6 – 18/20). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Matching thread; topstitching thread; 7" closed-end jeans zipper; one 5/8" jeans button; one 5/8" flat button; 3/4 yd of 1 1/2"-wide knit elastic; 1/4 yd of lightweight fusible interfacing; 1 pkg. of wide single fold bias tape to match; tagboard.
