The Maker's Atelier Faux Fur Jacket

Buy the Faux Fur Jacket sewing pattern from The Maker's Atelier. A pared back jacket style designed to make the most of faux fur fabric. The pattern includes a choice of a shawl or notch collar and has a one-piece sleeve. The jacket is fully lined and there are pockets in the side seams.

Suggested fabrics: Faux furs with a medium weight backing. Lighter weight, fluid faux furs will create a cardigan rather than a jacket effect, and will be trickier to sew.

Fabric requirements: 

Main: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 2.2 m (2 1/2 yd).

Lining: 120 cm (48") wide fabric: 1.6 - 2.2 m (1 3/4 - 2 1/2 yd).

The lining requirement includes the pocket pieces. If cotton pocket lining is preferred, 0.5 m (3/4 yd) is required.

Sizing: 4 – 22 (approx. UK 4 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.
