Sophie Hines Axis Tank

Buy the Axis Tank sewing pattern from Sophie Hines. The Axis Tank is an unlined cropped tank top/bralette designed to be worn as a comfort or layering garment. Four different views feature the tank with scooped or high necklines, with or without different design panels. All openings are finished with a super easy binding method. The garment can be entirely constructed with a sewing machine (serger/overlocker optional).

B/C cup: The views without panels have only one seam in the garment body, up the centre back. This makes it a quick sew, as well as excellent for those for whom pressure points are a concern. The garment is entirely elastic free.

D/E cup: The views without panels have two seams in the garment body, curving around the bust dart and along the side. The openings can be finished using elastic or your garment fabric.

Suggested fabrics: Knit fabrics with 50-75% stretch, preferably with spandex content. Blends of bamboo, rayon, cotton, lycra, silk, nylon + tencel are appropriate. 100% cotton tends to stretch out quickly.

Fabric requirements: 

B/C cup: XXS - XL, 1/2 yd (0.5 m) // 1X - 6X, 1 yd (0.9 m).

D/E cup: All sizes, 2/3 yd (0.6 m).
