Buy the S9977 Vintage 1980's Shorts sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner dressmaker. Vintage Simplicity 1980’s misses’ set of shorts pattern. One-yard shorts: each pair of shorts takes 1 yard or less of 45″ or 60″ fabric. Views 1 and 2 have front zipper. View 1 has waistband, yoke and pockets with front tucks. Wrong side of fabric shows when legs are rolled up. View 2 has front buttoned waistband, back elastic waistline casing and piping trim. View 3 shorts have elastic waistline casing and drawstring at sides. View 4 wrapped shorts have high cut legs, front waistband fastened in back and back waistband tied in front. Sizing: A (6-8-10-12-14) which is approx. UK sizes A (4/6 – 10). based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. View 1&2: One 7" (18cm) zipper, one 1/2" (1.3cm) button. Also for View 2: Seam tape or stretch lace, 3/4 yd. (0.7m) of 1" (2.5cm) elastic, 7/8 yd. (0.8m) of corded piping. View 3: 7/8 yd. (0.8m) of 3/4" (2cm) elastic.
