Simplicity Shorts & Trousers S9957

Buy the S9957 Shorts and Trousers sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. Shorts and trousers have front fly zipper with button closure, side and back pockets, and waistband with belt loops. Views A and C have raw frayed edges. View C has two contrast panels. This would make a sustainable sewing project, repurposing different fabrics to make a cool pair of jeans!

Suggested fabrics: A,B,C, C Contrasts 1, 2: Cotton Blends, Denim, Linen Blends, Twill. A,B also in: Chambray, Chino, Stretch Wovens. Lining: Cotton Blends, Polyester Blends. Interfacing: Lightweight Fusible. 

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way design fabrics or shrinkage.

Sizing: AA (10-12-14-16-18), BB (20W-28W), which is approx. UK sizes AA (6/8 – 14), BB (16/18– 26) based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A,B,C: One 7" (18cm) zipper (adjust to fit), one 5/8" (1.5cm) button (jeans button optional).
