Buy the Baby/Child Hula Hoop Skirt sewing pattern from Oliver + S. This reversible, pull-on, twirly skirt has a flippy flounce and an elastic waistband. Select contrasting or coordinating fabrics to highlight the fact that the fabric on the opposite side will be visible at the pleats on each side of the skirt.

Suggested fabrics: Light- to medium-weight woven fabrics like quilting cotton, voile, lawn, shirting, poplin, broadcloth, and linen. Note: Not recommended for thick or heavy fabrics.
Fabric requirements: 44″ – 45″ (112 – 114 cm) wide fabric:
6 months - 4 years: Fabric A, 3/4 - 1 yard (0.7 - 0.9 m) // Fabric B, 3/4 - 1 yard (0.7 - 0.9 m).
5 - 12 years: Fabric A, 1 - 1 1/2 yards (0.9 - 1.4 m) // Fabric B, 1 - 1 1/2 yards (0.9 - 1.4 m).
Sizing: 6 months - 4 years and 5 - 12 years. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: Thread, 3/4" elastic.
PDF pattern includes: Illustrated instructions; print-at-home pattern that fits on US letter or A4 paper; 36" wide copy shop pattern. Does not include an A0 copy shop file.
