Buy the M8539 Vintage 1980's Dress sewing pattern from McCalls. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. Vintage McCall’s 1980’s Laura Ashley dress sewing pattern. Dress A or B with or without short sleeves has collar with ties, lined bodice with front and back princess seaming, side zipper closure, full gathered skirt and side seam pocket. Authentic 80s vintage reproduction includes additional sizes and cutting layouts.

Suggested fabrics: Challis, Chambray, Cotton Blends, Crepe de Chine, Gingham, Soft Cottons. Not suitable for diagonals. Lining: Batiste, Lining Fabric.

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way designs fabrics or shrinkage.

Sizing: H5 (6-8-10-12-14), U5 (16-18-20-22-24), which is approx. UK sizes H5 (4/6 – 10), U5 (12 – 20/22) based on our standardised size chart . Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.
