French Navy Bowery Top

Buy the Bowery Top sewing pattern from French Navy. The Bowery Top is a versatile wardrobe staple that offers a polished look with the comfort and ease of a T-shirt. Specifically designed to be worn with your favourite high-waisted pants or shorts, the Bowery Top is cropped to sit at around 2" below the waist, but can easily be lengthened should “cropped” not be your style.

Suggested fabrics: The Bowery Top is best suited to light to medium weight woven fabrics with or without drape. Linen, chambray, cotton shirting and the like will produce a more structured garment, while drapier fabrics like viscose/rayon blends will also work well but make for a softer silhouette.

Fabric requirements: 

150 cm (60") wide fabric: Sizes A-D, 105 cm (1.1 yd) // Sizes E-G, 114 cm (1.3 yd).

115 cm (45") wide fabric: Sizes A-D, 117 cm (1.3 yd) // Sizes E-G, 130 cm (1.4 yd).

Sizing: A – G (approx. UK 6 – 16). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread; five 1 cm (3/8") buttons; 50 cm (19") of lightweight fusible interfacing. Note: If you are using very lightweight fabric, then you may wish to interface your cuffs, in which case an additional 55 cm (22") of interfacing will be required.
