Buy the Ginger Jeans sewing pattern from Closet Core Patterns. Designed for stretch denim, the Ginger Jeans are a comfortable and super versatile wardrobe staple. A classic five-pocket design with professional-looking details, you’ll want to wear them every day.

View A features a low rise, straight "stovepipe" leg and traditional fold-over front pockets. View B has a high rise, skinny leg and a pocket stay sewn into the centre front.

Suggested fabrics:

Main: Stretch denim with at least 2% lycra.

Pockets: Medium weight wovens, such as quilting cotton (0.5 yd/0.45 m).

Fabric requirements: 45" (1.15 m) wide fabric: 2.5 - 3.25 yd (2.3 - 3 m) // 54" (1.4 m) wide fabric: 2 - 2.5 yd (1.8 - 2.3 m) // 60" (1.5 m) wide fabric: 1.5 - 2.5 yd (1.4 - 2.3 m).

Sizing: 0 – 20 (approx. UK 6 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 0.5 yd (0.45 m) of fusible interfacing; jeans zipper: 6" (15 cm) for View A or 7" (18 cm) for View B; jeans button; topstitching and regular thread; denim or heavy duty needle // Optional: denim rivets.
