Buy the V1993 Jacket and Trousers sewing pattern from Vogue. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. Fitted, cropped jackets have extended shoulders, shoulder pads and two-piece sleeves. View A has below elbow length sleeves and patch pockets. View B has long sleeves with working vents and patch pockets with flaps. Fitted pants have fly front zipper with hook and bar closure, waist facings, waist darts and invisible hem. Views A and C have purchased trim.

Suggested fabrics: Brocade, linen blends, men's suiting, tweed, wool crepe. Lining: lining fabric. Interfacing: Lightweight fusible.

Sizing: H5 (6-8-10-12-14) U5 (16-18-20-22-24), which is approx. UK sizes H5 (4/6 – 10), U5 (12– 20/22) based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A,B: Pair of 1/2" (1.3cm) shoulder pads. Also for A: 4 yds. (3.6m) of 1" (2.5cm) flexible trim, five 3/4" (2cm) buttons. Also for B: Nine 3/4" (2cm) buttons. C,D: One 7" (18cm) zipper (cut to fit), one 3/8" (1cm) button, one hook and bar. Also for C: 1 1/2 yds. (1.4m) of 1" (2.5cm) flexible trim.
