The Sewing Workshop Edgewater Dress & Skirt

Buy the Edgewater Dress and Skirt sewing pattern from The Sewing Workshop. The semi-fitted, mid-calf dress has a crew neck, asymmetric bottom panels and a side dart. The semi-fitted, mid-calf skirt has four asymmetric panels, a side dart and elastic waistband.

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Two-way and four-way light- to mid-weight knits. A woven fabric can be substituted for one of the bottom panels.

Fabric requirements: 

Dress: 45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: 3 1/2 - 3 3/4 yd (3.2 - 3.4 m) // 54/60″ (137/152 cm) wide fabric: 2 3/4 - 3 1/4 yd (2.5 - 3 m).

Skirt: 45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: 2 3/4 yd (2.5 m) // 54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/8 - 2 1/3 yd (2 - 2.2 m) // 60″ (152 cm) wide fabric: 2 yd (1.8 m).

Sizing: XS - XXL (approx. UK 6 - 18/20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread // Skirt: 1 yd of 1"-wide elastic.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; print-at-home pattern (85 pages); 36″ wide copy shop pattern (1 sheet); A0 copy shop pattern (7 sheets).
