TAUKO Panel Trousers

Buy the Panel Trousers sewing pattern from TAUKO. Panel by Mila Moisio is named for the colour blocked panels at the hem. You can play with contrasting colours or create a subtle effect using two different sides of the same fabric. Or you can leave off the panel completely, creating voluminous midi shorts to wear for summer trips. The trousers have a fly front zip and side pockets.

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Choose a medium weight woven fabric. The sample trousers are made from chambray, and the sample midi shorts are made from linen.

Fabric requirements: 

Main: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 161 - 323 cm (63" - 127").

Contrast: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 134 - 150 cm (53" - 59").

Sizing: 1 – 9 (approx. UK 6 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Interfacing; two 1.8 cm (0.7") buttons or snap fasteners; standard trousers or dress zip (length depends on size).
