Buy the Dorte Blouse or Tunic sewing pattern from TAUKO. Dorte by Stefanie Kroth is a blouse or tunic with a long attached shawl, which you can wrap, knot, or let cascade freely. The elegant raglan sleeves have a delicate slit at the cuff. There are also side slits at the garment hem for a relaxed, airy fit. A versatile garment that invites play, layering, and personal styling, Dorte moves with you, changing shape with a simple sweep of the shawl.

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: One of the pattern pieces has been split (to fit on the A0 sheet) and will need to be joined together.

Note: You will need to lengthen the bodice pieces to make the tunic.

Suggested fabrics: Choose a light to medium-light woven fabric such as poplin, crêpe, satin, or any other lightweight cotton, linen, silk, viscose, or tencel. The fabric should look good on both sides, since the reverse will be visible. As the shawl pulls the neckline to the back, this design can’t be made with heavy fabrics.

Fabric requirements: 

Blouse: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 218 - 339 cm (85.9" - 133.5").

Tunic: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 218 - 408 cm (85.9" - 160.7").

Sizing: 1 – 9 (approx. UK 6 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
