Buy the S3018 Vintage 1970's Trousers, Skirt and Jacket sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner dressmaker. Vintage Simplicity 1970s Unlined Jacket, Skirt, Wide-Leg Trousers sewing pattern. The wide leg pants and the six gored flared Skirt have back zipper and waistband. The jacket with long or short set-in sleeves gathered to armholes has shawl collar and optional button trim or chain and button closure. The sleeves feature slits which can be turned back and trimmed with buttons.

Suggested fabrics: Challis, Chambray, Chino, Cotton Knit, Double Knit, Gabardine, Lightweight Wool, Linen, Poplin, Silk Linen, Surah, Tweed, Wool Crepe, Wool Flannel. Interfacing: Lightweight Woven or Non-Woven, Fusible or Non-fusible. 

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way design fabrics or shrinkage.

Sizing: H5 (6-8-10-12-14) U5 (16-18-20-22-24), which is approx. UK sizes H5 (4/6 – 10), U5 (12– 20/22) based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. Trousers and Skirt: One 7" (18cm) zipper, seam binding or stretch lace. Jacket: Bias seam binding or stretch lace, two 7/8" (2.2cm) buttons for front or one chain and button closure for front with 1 1/8" (3cm) buttons, two or four 7/8" (2.2cm) buttons for sleeves (opt.).
