Simplicity Vintage Dress S9464

Buy the S9464 1940's Vintage Dress sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner/intermediate dressmaker. This Vintage 1940's dress has collarless neckline that can be made sweetheart or square shaped. View A has gathered skirt finished with a ruffle and self tie belt. View B features applied trim. Both views feature short sleeves pleated at the bottom.

Sizing: H5 (6-8-10-12-14) U5 (16-18-20-22-24), which is approx. UK sizes H5 (4/6 – 10), U5 (12– 20/22) based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. Four 5/8" (1.5cm) buttons, eight snaps, one pkg. of 1/2" (1.3cm) wide single fold bias tape, sleeve stiffening, (optional), 1/8 yd. (0.20m) of 35" (90cm) wide muslin, 39" (99cm) wide taffeta or 45" (115cm) wide organza. B: 2 yds. (1.80m) of 1 1/4" (3.2cm) wide embroidered beading, 3 yds. (2.70m) of 1" (2.5cm) wide embroidered edging, 3 1/2 yds. (3.20m) of 1/2" (1.3cm) wide ribbon.
