Buy the S9749 Tops sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner dressmaker. Tops in four styles have elastic at shoulders, neckline and sleeves. View B is a crop top. View C has a subtle cut out under the bust. View C and View D have peplum gathers into front waistband and smocking along the back for a universally flattering and feminine fit.

Suggested fabrics: Cotton blends, chambray, gingham, linen blends, poplin. Interfacing C,D: Lightweight fusible.

Sizing: K5 (8-10-12-14-16) Y5 (18-20-22-24-26) which is approx. UK sizes K5 (6-12), Y5 (14-24). based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. A,B,C,D: One pkg. of 1/2" (1.3cm) single fold bias tape. Also for A,B: 1 3/4 yds. (1.6m) of 3/8" (1cm) elastic. Also for B: 1 1/4 yds. (1.1m)  of 1" 92.5cm) elastic. Also for C,D: 2 5/8 yds. (2.4m) of 3/8" (1cm) elastic. Also for C: One 12" (30cm) invisible zipper. Also for D: One 12" (30cm) invisible zipper.
