Buy the 1369 skirts sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner dressmaker. Misses' skirts can be made in three lengths: below, at or above the knee with optional sheer overlay (view B), front slit pockets (views C, D, E, F) and ribbon trim applied at hem or waistband.

Suggested fabrics: Batiks, brocade, chambray, cotton types, crepe de chime, faille, lined types, pique, sateen, taffeta. B overlay in batiste, chiffon, georgette, organza, voile.
