Simplicity Dress & Jumpsuit S9850

Buy the S9850 Dress and Jumpsuit sewing pattern from Simplicity. It’s perfect for an intermediate dressmaker. Dress and jumpsuit with corseted top have back zipper, seamed cups, boning, adjustable lingerie elastic straps and elastic foldover binding. Maxi length dress has shoulder ruffles and gathered skirt with hem ruffle. Jumpsuit has slim legs and front and back darts for fit. Separate pattern pieces included for cup sizes A through to J.

Suggested fabrics: Brocade, cotton types, jacquard, power mesh, taffeta. A Contrast 2 and A also in: Allover lace, organza. Bodice B also in novelty sequin fabrics. B Contrast 2 (Trousers) also in velvet. Lining: Organza, stretch mesh.

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way design fabrics or shrinkage.

Notions: Thread. A,B: 22" (56cm) invisible zipper (cut to fit), 2 3/4 yds. (2.5m) of 1/4" (6mm) featherweight boning, 3 3/4 yds. (3.5m) of 3/8" (1cm) channeling, pair of bra underwires (see guide for sizing), pair of 3/4" (2cm) bra rings and strap sliders, 3/4" (2cm) fold-over elastic: A: 3 5/8 yds. (3.4m) for XS - XL, 4 3/8 yds. (4.0) for sizes 1XL - 5XL. B: 2 1/2 yds. (2.3m) for XS - XL, 2 3/4 yds. (2.5m) for 1XL - 5XL, 3/4 yd. (0.7m) of shoulder strap elastic: 1/2" (1.3cm) wide for sizes XS - M - cup sizes A -C, 3/4" (2cm) or wider for sizes XS - M - cup sizes D and above, and sizes L - 5XL - all cup sizes.
