Puff and Pencil Zip Vest & Two Piece Sleeve

Buy the Zip Vest & Two Piece Sleeve sewing pattern bundle from Puff and Pencil. This bundle includes two separate patterns – the Zip Vest and the Two Piece Sleeve – which work in combination to make a jacket.

The Zip Vest is a slightly fitted sleeveless vest with a high collar and front zipper. The vest is unlined. The vest pattern is also available separately here, or with a different sleeve pattern here.

The Two Piece Sleeve is a slightly curved sleeve with two seams.

This sewing pattern bundle is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: 

Zip Vest: This pattern is designed for woven fabrics. Choose a fabric that has some structure. Denim, canvas, wool, faux leather, or a sturdy twill work well. If you choose leather or faux leather, you will need seam tape to hold the seam allowance in place.

Two Piece Sleeve: Sew the sleeve in the same type of fabric as the vest.

Fabric requirements: 

Zip Vest (without sleeves): 135 cm wide fabric: XXS-S, 130 cm / M-L, 135 cm / XL-XXL, 155 cm // 145 cm wide fabric: XXS-S, 105 cm / M-L, 135 cm / XL-XXL, 155 cm.

Two Piece Sleeve: 135 cm wide fabric: All sizes, 70 cm // 145 cm wide fabric: All sizes, 70 cm.

Sizing: XXS – XXL (approx. UK 6 – 22/24, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Interfacing; 50 cm separating zipper.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions (with QR-coded videos); A4/US letter print-at-home patterns (17 pages for vest + 9 pages for sleeve); A0 copy shop patterns (1 sheet for vest + 1 sheet for sleeve) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: No.
