Petits D'om Jeam Shorts

Buy the Child/Teen Jeam Shorts sewing pattern from Petits D'om. These feminine shorts feature box pleats in the front and pockets with a folded detail at the back. The shorts have a zip fly, and the back of the waistband is elasticated for a perfect fit and maximum comfort. Piping can be added to the front pockets for a pretty finishing touch. Make Jeam in cotton or chambray for summer, or in thin wool, velvet or denim to wear over tights in autumn and winter.

Main: Summer version: cotton, poplin, denim, chambray, linen. Winter version: thin wool, denim, velvet.

Secondary fabric (pockets and waistband): Cotton, poplin, batiste, Liberty.

Fabric requirements: 

Main: 140 cm (58") wide fabric: 50 - 100 cm (1/2 - 1 1/8 yd).

Secondary fabric: 110 cm (43") wide fabric: 35 cm (3/8 yd).

Sizing: 2 – 16 years. Please check the designer's size chart.

Notions: Iron-on interfacing suitable for secondary fabric, 20 cm x 100 cm (8" x 40") ; 15 cm (6") closed-end zip; buttonhole elastic, 1 cm (3/8") wide, 30-50 cm (12"-19"); one 15-18 mm (9/16"-11/16") button; two 10-12 mm (3/8"-1/2") buttons // Optional: two 1 cm (3/8") buttons or rivets for back pockets.
