Buy the M8464 Vintage Jacket and Dress sewing pattern from McCalls. It’s perfect for an advanced beginner dressmaker. Vintage McCall's 1980's jacket and dress by Laura Ashley. Princess seamed jacket with stand collar has welt pockets, long sleeves with gathered caps and cuffs. Dress with sweetheart neckline has lapped back bodice, shoulder straps, side zipper opening and full, gathered skirt with patch pockets. Authentic vintage reproduction includes additional sizes and cutting layouts.

Suggested fabrics: Jacket, Dress: Baby cord, chambray, cotton blends, crisp cotton, damask, lightweight broadcloth, medium-weight linen, pique, polished cotton, seersucker. Lining: Broadcloth batiste, lightweight cotton and cotton blends, lining fabric. Interfacing: lightweight fusible. Note: not suitable for diagonals, checks, stripes and plaids.

Note: Extra fabric maybe needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way designs fabrics or shrinkage.

Sizing: K5 (8-10-12-14-16) Y5 (18-20-22-24-26) which is approx. UK sizes K5 (6-12), Y5 (14-24) based on our standardised size chart. Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread. Jacket: Two 1/2" (1.3cm) buttons. Dress: One 14" (35cm) zipper, one hook and eye, seam binding or stretch lace (opt.).
