Hey June Handmade Prescott Dress

Buy the Prescott Dress sewing pattern from Hey June Handmade. The Prescott Dress is a casual, knit, racerback dress in two lengths. View A sits right above the knee and View B extends to the mid-calf, or tea-length. View B features side slits on both sides to aid in movement. Both views have an optional built-in shelf bra and are fitted at the upper bust and strap area with positive ease through the bust, waist, and hip. The elastic can also be omitted, leaving a simple facing instead of a shelf bra. The 14 – 30 size range has a bust dart. Prescott is perfect for dressing up with jewellery and heels or dressing down with a denim jacket and sneakers.

Suggested fabrics: Stable light to midweight knits with 4 way stretch, good recovery, and at least 50% stretch across the grain. Knits blended with Lycra/spandex work best. Cotton Lycra, ponte, bamboo knits, and double knit are good options.

Sizes 0 – 20:

View A: 56" (142 cm) wide fabric: Sizes 0 - 10, 1.75 yd  (1.6 m) // Sizes 12 - 20, 2.25 yd (2.1 m).

View B: 56" (142 cm) wide fabric: Sizes 0 - 10, 2.25 yd (2.1 m) // Sizes 12 - 20, 3 yd (2.7 m).

For stripe matching, add 1/4 yd (0.2 m) for sizes 12 - 20.

Sizes 14 – 30:

View A: 56" (142 cm) wide fabric: 3 yd (2.7 m).

View B: 56" (142 cm) wide fabric: 4 yd (3.7 m).

Sizing: US 0 – 20 with a B cup (approx. UK 8 – 22, based on our standardised size chart) or US 14 – 30 with a D cup (approx. UK 20 – 34, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size charts and pattern measurements.

Notions: 1 - 1 1/2 yd of soft or knit 1" elastic (optional, for the shelf bra).

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; US letter/A4 print-at-home pattern (40 pages for sizes 0-20, 42 pages for sizes 14-30); 36″ wide copy shop pattern (1 sheet for each size range); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets for sizes 0-20, 3 sheets for sizes 14-30). This pattern has layers so you can print only the size(s) you need.
