Buy the Brooks Jeans sewing pattern from Helen's Closet. The Brooks Jeans are non-stretch jeans with a classic cut. Not too tight and not too loose, these high-waisted jeans offer a comfortable fit that will serve you for years to come. The legs have a slightly tapered shape that straightens out at the hem. The View A legs are cropped just above the ankle, and the View B legs are hemmed at the upper thigh. Both views offer a zipper fly, front and back pockets, and an optional coin pocket. Suggested fabrics: Medium to heavy weight woven fabric with no stretch. Brooks works best in denim, bull denim, cotton twill, corduroy, and canvas. The designer recommends a fabric weight of 9-13 oz. (305-406 gsm).

Fabric requirements: Please allow extra fabric for napped or directional prints.

View A (jeans): 57" (150 cm) wide fabric: 2 - 2.5 yd (2 - 2.5 m) // 45" (115 cm) wide fabric: 2.5 - 4 yd (2 - 3.5 m) // 30" (76 cm) wide fabric: 3 - 5 yd (3 - 5 m).

View B (shorts): 57" (150 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 2 yd (1 - 2 m) // 45" (115 cm) wide fabric: 1.5 - 2.5 yd (1.5 - 2 m) // 30" (76 cm) wide fabric: 2 - 3 yd (2 - 3 m).

Sizing: US 0 – 34 (approx. UK 6 – 34, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
