French Navy Forsythe Dress Pattern Expansion

Buy the Forsythe Dress Pattern Expansion sewing pattern from French Navy. This pattern expansion to the well-loved Forsythe Dress offers a feminine twist on the original with beautifully draped three-quarter length bishop sleeves that are gathered into a unique shape at the cuffs. The panelled bodice presents an opportunity for colour-blocking or pattern interplay, and the buttoned front adds both practicality and visual interest. Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabric, preferably with some measure of drape. Challis, chambray, cotton shirting, flannel, lightweight linen blends, viscose, rayon or viscose/rayon blends. Due to the relaxed fit of the dress, it is recommended you size down one size when using fabric with a significant amount of stretch.

Fabric requirements: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 2.16 m (2.3 yd) // 115 cm (45″) wide fabric: 2.73 m (2.9 yd).

Sizing: XXS – XXL (approx. UK 6 – 16, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread; lightweight fusible interfacing; five 1 cm (3/8") buttons.
